It’s Bell Let’s Talk Day, everyone! Even though this is a Canadian thing, my blog reaches people from all over the place, and mental health should be talked about everywhere.
It took me a while to finally admit it to myself, but I know now that my constant worrying and overanalyzing is indeed anxiety. I thought everyone was like that! Who knew it’s only us anxious folk? Well, that’s what it is!
Let me quickly show you how my brain works on a daily basis…
Anxiety … A Day in the Life Of…
Am I normal? Does everyone worry about everything like I do?
No, definitely don’t think this could be true.
Xtremely vivid imagination, my mind runs wild,
I‘ve been like this since I was a child.
Everyday I dwell on what could go wrong,
They all think its useless and long,
Yet I think it makes me strong.
There it is… my anxiety. I’m out and proud with it, I hope one day everyone else will feel like they can be too. Here’s to ending the stigma on mental health. Come on, I know we can do it!
Let’s start a conversation about it… Please share anything and everything.
How does mental health affect you or someone you love?
What do you think we could do to help in ending the stigma?
