February Ottawa Small Business Corner Feature

Updated: Mar 10, 2021

Hello there, wonderful readers! Apologies for being MIA for a while.. you know, running a business, worldwide pandemic... I have my reasons. Just kidding, I promise I will try harder!

Anyways! As those of you who follow me on social media may know, I am starting a brand new monthly blog series entitled the Zoey Schvan Ottawa Small Business Corner! I'm not self-involved or narcissistic at all... I just like to attach my name to everything, apparently.

In all seriousness, I thought this would be a nice way to give back to the wonderful small business community that has welcomed me with open arms these past years. Every month, I will have a local small business featured here in order to support my new friends, as well as promote this recent #ShopLocal movement.

Back to me for a moment, please... Although, I swear this is a direct lead in to our featured business! A few weeks ago, I found out that my coaching / consulting business qualifies as a social enterprise, as I focus on social issues (helping disabled entrepreneurs). In all honesty, I only recently learnt what that actually means, and now that I do, I realize how cool social enterprises are. Helping people, helping society... it's all very cool.

Their microgreen packs are $4 this week on

I would like to take a moment to thank my friends over at Social Harvest Ottawa for being my first featured business! I can't wait to continue this series! I have my March business lined up for you guys! Keep an eye on my social accounts to find out more in the next few weeks!
