Oh No...

Have you ever done something that seemed like a good idea at the time, but then once it happened… well, not so much? That was me tonight! After weeks of planning to get a haircut, I impulsively decided to get it done tonight at Walmart. I mean, we were already there shopping and I will not have much free time in the next few weeks, so one thing lead to another, and well, now I look like I should be joining the army. I did ask for a short haircut and I did specify a length… I guess my thoughts on what a #2 cut would look like were much different, from let’s say… reality. Now, I’m only writing about this here to get it out there in the open and protect my loved ones from a potential heart attack. To be clear, I am not exactly thrilled with the new look. I really really hope that it grows back very quickly! Not only did I get a hairdo I don’t like, but I also cheated on my regular hairdresser. Vince, in any off chance that you are reading this, I am truly sorry. It was a one-time thing and I was thinking about you the whole time. Please forgive me.

Man sweating at a press conference.

Morals of the story?

  • No more Walmart cuts for me in the near future.

  • To try avoid making decisions before doing some thorough planning.

  • Patience! If the better cut can only happen at a later date, wait the necessary amount of time.
